Job summary

You will follow procedures, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to emergencies while maintaining accurate records and supporting facility projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in facility structure systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical abilities with safety/environmental practices.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and work independently.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and planning layouts.
• Experience operating construction equipment (e.g., lifts, forklifts, ladders, scaffolds).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, preventive facilities maintenance and repairs.
• Installs, inspects, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste systems.
• Assists with facility projects, renovations, and upgrades.
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Supports events and equipment operation within the facility.
• Collaborates with trades contractors as needed.
• Ensures building security and safety measures are upheld.
