Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to maintain 5S standards in a production environment.
• Capable of performing custodial tasks in offices, warehouses, and industrial areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using standard or industrial equipment
• Empties recycling and trash receptacles daily and removes the contents to appropriate dumpsters
• Dusts walls, doors, glass, windows, ceilings using ladders when needed
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas as required
• May remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• May sweep walks or perform other incidental seasonal tasks when required
• Keeps lunchroom surfaces and appliances clean and free from stains
• Participate in upholding 5S standards
