The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in aerospace compliance, strong FAA/NASA/DoD knowledge, and proven program management in complex environments. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance roles within the aerospace industry.
• Extensive knowledge of FAA, NASA, DoD, and international aerospace regulations.
• Proven track record managing compliance programs in complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply chain export strategies in partnership with Blue Origin Trade Compliance.
• Author and manage Export License and Technical Assistance Agreement applications.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive compliance program aligned with FAR and DFAR.
• Stay current with evolving regulations and assess impact on operations and contracts.
• Create automated compliance reporting systems focusing on FAR and DFAR requirements.
• Conduct internal audits to identify compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into design, manufacturing and service.
• Provide training on compliance matters across the organization with emphasis on FAR/DFAR.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory bodies for compliance issues.
• Align system compliance with Global Supply Chain needs outside the US.
