Job summary

Bron Tapes, a Denver-based distributor of tape and adhesive products, is seeking an Estimator I to support the sales team by requoting existing jobs and calculating production costs for industrial and aerospace manufacturing processes.

The role requires detail orientation, the ability to work quickly against deadlines, and collaboration with vendors, sales reps, CSRs, and customers. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• 1-2 years in related field.
• Estimating/quoting experience a plus.
• 1-2 years navigating an ERP system.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong time management skills and ability to pivot based on new information.
• CRM experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process RFQs and revalidate pricing for industrial and aerospace items and customers.
• Requoting existing jobs and updating as needed.
• Understand production machinery capabilities to provide accurate costs.
• Research and source items relevant to quote requests.
• Verify cost accuracy.
• Review production runs and cost increases and requote as needed.
• Work closely with sales and operations to provide accurate quotes.
• Coordinate with Pricing Coordinator to confirm sell prices.
• Communicate with Production regarding inventory availability.
• Create formal quotes within ERP.
• Log RFQs and maintain searchable records.
• Use ERP to mine historic data and verify item information.
• Coordinate updates to pricing and purchasing information on item records.
• Submit formal quotes to requestors.
• Maintain and exceed company and department goals and metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
