Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes in North Charleston, SC is hiring a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician for the A&I Production Equipment Maintenance Team. This on-site role requires handling maintenance on factory equipment, reading schematics, and working a variable shift.

Pay ranges are provided: B-Level $59k–$65k; C-Level $61.2k–$68k, with pay determined by experience. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered. Training precedes permanent shift assignment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year aerospace/manufacturing equipment repair experience.
• 1+ year reading engineering drawings/specifications.
• 1+ year using DVMs, oscilloscopes, power meters or related test equipment.
• 1+ year using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work variable shifts, training period precedes shift assignment.
• 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
• 3+ years in aerospace/manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ year reading engineering drawings/specifications preferred.
• 3+ year using DVMs, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc. preferred.
• 3+ year with MS Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on factory equipment.
• Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, and tests machinery.
• Interprets blueprints and schematics for repairs.
• Responds to equipment repair requests.
• Maintains component and replacement part inventories.
• Works under limited supervision.
