Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to join a Government Consulting company in Western TX. This 100% onsite role focuses on environmental testing of aerospace/defense hardware, including vibration, TVAC, and acoustic test operations.

The candidate will plan, execute, and document tests, operate shakers and chambers, and install instrumentation while generating detailed reports for engineering teams. A 2–5 year background in environmental testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in environmental test engineering or related testing roles.
• Knowledge of vibration test systems, thermal vacuum chamber operation, acoustic test methods, DAQ systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW).
• (Certifications, if any)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $85,000- $100,000/ year depending on experience

• Other benefits: relocation assistance ($10,000), Restricted Stock Units, monthly meal allowance and stipend (totaling $1,000/month additional)
