Job summary

Aether Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is hiring an Engineering Technician to join our Defense Technology platform. Immediate start for a full-time role to assemble, modify, and install aircraft subsystems in a hands-on environment with engineers and customers.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma with 4+ years in sheet metal and aircraft work, the ability to read drawings, and a Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with sheet metal and aircraft structural work.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience on commercial or DoD aircraft is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and customers to develop, assemble, and install aircraft sub-systems.
• Fabricate, repair, and install aircraft components and assemblies, including sheet metal and composite work.
• Provide items to QA for inspection and package items for delivery or installation support.
• Occasional travel may be required.
