Job summary

Swift Engineering Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician to work alongside engineers and manufacturing teams to fabricate and assemble composite and metallic aerospace components, ensuring adherence to NADCAP and AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities include developing and refining lamination and drilling processes, performing assembly, quality checks, and tool design support, with emphasis on precision, safety, and collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aviation-related technician field.
• Experience with precision measuring devices.
• Experience with aerospace fasteners and QC tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work travelers.
• Team player under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and recommend lamination, drilling/finishing, and assembly processes for prototype or LRIP programs.
• Prove/verify new processes or procedures and provide feedback to management.
• Assist Operations in clarifying technical requirements.
• Assist in tool design / MFG aids.
• Support and comply with quality standards (Swift, NADCAP & AS9100).
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with company policies.
