Job summary

Swift Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer in Composites Manufacturing to drive realization of parts and products in coordination with all departments. The role includes design, calculations, reports, and establishing product structures in ERP/MRP; close interaction with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and customers is expected.

Exempt position with travel and occasional after-hours work. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 3–5 years in composites

Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years in composites or light weight structures design.
3–5 years in mechanical design.
Experience in aerospace or vehicle dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Product/part design and engineering calculations.
Create engineering reports and presentations.
Establish product structures in ERP/MRP per procedures.
Coordinate changes with Manufacturing and QA teams.
