Job summary

The Structures Company in Greer, SC is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform metallography using SEM, Keyence, and an optical microscope. This contract role (12 months) supports a top-tier aerospace and defense client and includes a second shift.

You will work under general supervision, relying on your metallography experience to plan and execute tasks, with a focus on quality and process improvements. Bonus potential and Tier 1 supplier access are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR).
• High school degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in the field.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience in metallographic sample preparation.
• Preferred: Knowledge in coating systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs metallography using SEM, Keyence, and optical microscope.
• Works under general supervision performing a variety of tasks.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
