Job summary

Parker Aerospace, a leader in aviation technology, seeks an Engineering Manager to coordinate the Product Engineering department, translating concepts into profitable, manufacturable designs. You will guide resources, oversee budgets, schedules, and production support while leading engineers, drafters, and designers.

You will liaise with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability and risk mitigation, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science or engineering is required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in supervision.
• Experience in electronics and/or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• PC literacy with AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing products and develop derivatives to meet requirements.
• Direct preparation of design layouts, production drawings, and sketches.
• Coordinate engineering change control on production drawings.
• Lead and develop Engineers and Designers; support Tool Room and Research.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Control, and Purchasing.
