Mach Industries invites motivated engineering students to apply for the Summer 2027 Engineering Internship, Software. This paid, in-person, 12-week program offers hands-on work across aerospace domains.

You'll contribute to Flight Sciences, Flight Test Operations, Vehicle Design, Propulsion & Aerothermal Systems, GNC, Systems Integration, Modeling & Simulation, and Test & Analysis under close mentorship, with opportunities to impact real-world defense projects.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in aerospace or a related engineering discipline.
• Intellectual curiosity and the drive to own problems end-to-end.
• Genuine interest in defense technology, national security, or the future of autonomous systems.
• Ability to complete in an in-person 12-week internship in summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work across aerospace domains including Flight Sciences, Flight Test Operations, Vehicle Design, Propulsion & Aerothermal Systems, GNC, Systems Integration, Modeling & Simulation, and Test & Analysis.
• Assist with planning and execution of flight tests and data analysis.
• Support vehicle design, aerodynamics, thermal and structural tasks as needed.
• Contribute to high-fidelity vehicle modeling and 6-DOF simulations.
• Develop test plans, instrumentation, and evaluate results to improve designs.
• Collaborate with mentors in office settings during Summer 2027.
• Gain exposure to ITAR/compliance considerations in aerospace projects.
• Present findings and integrate feedback from engineering teams.
