Job summary

GE Aerospace offers an internship/co-op program to help you design aircraft engines and electrical/mechanical components for commercial and military applications. You’ll work on real-world problems with safety and quality as top priorities, gain hands-on experience, and pursue mentorship and training programs while preparing for possible full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, unrounded.
• Enrolled full-time in an accredited engineering bachelor’s or graduate program (aerospace, mechanical, electrical/electrical & computer).
• Willingness to work in the United States; primary locations listed in the posting.
• Reliable transportation to sites, as public transport may be unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining electrical/mechanical requirements, and perform design and analysis work.
• Support hardware build, lab testing and product/program development.
• Collaborate with mentors and teams to gain hands-on engineering experience while preparing for potential full-time opportunities.
