Job summary

Cummings-Aerospace- in Arlington, VA, seeks an Aerospace Engineer III to support physics-based modeling and simulation tools for system design and analysis. You will perform trade studies, assessments, and deliver technical results to leads and customers.

The role requires a BS in an engineering field, 5+ years of modeling experience, 6-DOF GNC exposure, and programming in Matlab, C++, and FORTRAN, with an active SECRET clearance. On-site work.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required.
  • 5+ years of modeling and simulation experience with complex aerospace systems required.
  • 6-DOF simulation and GNC experience is highly desired.
  • Programming experience in Matlab, C++, and FORTRAN required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Aerospace Engineer III position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will support the development and implementation of physics based modeling and simulation tools to support aerospace system design and analysis, perform engineering trade studies, and performance assessments. The individual will report to the Program Manager.

Responsibilities
