Description

AeroTEC is an aerospace engineering company providing a wide array of high-end services and turnkey solutions ranging from aircraft level analysis and design engineering, to prototype flight testing and airworthiness certification. Our experienced teams work closely with customers to address their needs safely and cost-effectively, using proven methodologies and tools.

About the Role

This position is part of our Junior Engineer Development Initiative (JEDI). It involves rotating through different disciplines within AeroTEC, allowing development through mentorship by experienced engineers. The role requires exercising significant independent discretion and judgment.

In This Role You Will:
  1. Support Certification Activities such as creating and reviewing certification plans, qualification test plans, procedures, reports, safety documents, and participating in system design reviews.
  2. Assist in Flight Testing Activities including defining test specifications, preparing and reviewing test plans, monitoring flight data, analyzing results, and documenting test reports.
  3. Complete special projects and tasks assigned by the Group Lead.
Qualifications

Minimum Skills:

  • Four-year degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, or Instrumentation). Other engineering fields may be considered.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required.
  • Travel to various domestic and international worksites and client offices, including extended periods at the Moses Lake Facility during flight test operations.
