Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA is seeking an entry-level Aerospace Engineer (Weapons) to contribute to next-generation platforms across air, land, and sea. You will support hardware design, testing, and simulation under mentorship and gain exposure to cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, security-clearance readiness, and applying aerospace principles through MATLAB-based analysis and tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Bachelor’s OR Masters in Aerospace OR Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to obtain security clearance
• Experience in using, updating, and writing code in MATLAB or related software language
• Willingness to apply aerospace principles, theories, and concepts

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
• Participating in development of new products across all phases of the hardware design lifecycle from concept development to test and evaluation concepts
• Supporting hands‑on ground and flight test events through test planning, test execution, and data reduction in a dynamic environment
• Working with multidisciplinary systems and accomplishing tasks that cover a wide range of design activities on air, sea, and/or land vehicles
• Conducting in-depth structural, stability and control, and aerodynamic analysis
• Using, updating, and writing aircraft performance simulation and predictive tools
