Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an EMI Test Lead Engineering Technician to support our aerospace business unit on-site. You will be part of a technicians team providing technical expertise for the smooth operation of engineering processes within the aerospace domain.

Responsibilities include conducting EMI tests per DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in EMI engineering or related role.
• Strong technical skills in mechanical systems and components relevant to aerospace applications
• Hands on experience with EMI test equipment such as amplifiers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electromagnetic interference testing using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, on aerospace products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
