Qualifications

  • Must read schematics and circuitry to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
  • Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting electronic circuits.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or military electronics training desired.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic products that fail acceptance testing.
  • Perform detailed visual inspections for workmanship and proper wiring per IPC-610.
  • Set up and execute acceptance tests to reproduce identified problems.
  • Take electrical measurements and analyze results.
  • Determine root cause of failures and review findings with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Document steps taken and findings using Excel or database systems.
