Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is hiring an Electronic Technician in Sunrise, FL to support unmanned aircraft systems in the Electronic Warfare unit. You will assemble and wire electrical systems, solder components, and test hardware to strict standards alongside engineers and production teams.

Responsibilities include building harnesses, interpreting drawings, and performing field or flight tests as needed. This role requires overtime flexibility and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade/technical certification required.
• 2–15+ years of relevant experience in electronic/avionics tech.
• Experience with RF/microwave test equipment (spectrum/network/VS analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Strong data collection, analysis, and scientific method understanding.
• Proficiency with wiring/soldering and basic electrical drawings.
• Must be able to obtain US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, test, inspect, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Test and modify electronic parts using diagnostic tools.
• Perform inspections during/after installations and soldering.
• Interpret schematics and drawings; ensure specifications are met.
• Collaborate with engineers and production on prototypes and builds.
• Travel for field or flight testing as required.
