Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith is seeking an Electronics Technician in Grand Forks, ND to assemble electronic test equipment, cables, and components. You will follow detailed schematics, operate wire processing tools, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes precision assembly, quality checks, and collaboration with engineering to resolve issues. Travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical components, circuitry, and basic electronics principles.
• Ability to read and interpret wire lists, schematics, build specifications and drawings.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for small components.
• Proficiency in soldering electrical and electronic connections.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic test equipment including cable and circuit card assemblies.
• Operate and program automated wire cutting, stripping, and crimping equipment.
• Document build processes and update engineering on potential improvements.
• Support process improvements with engineering and troubleshoot assembly challenges.
• Perform self-inspections and peer inspections to ensure quality.
