Qualifications

• Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
• Willingness to learn SMT equipment setup and processes.
• Comfort in entering production data into MES/ERP systems.
• Commitment to safety, ESD, quality standards, and procedure adherence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT equipment for high-reliability assemblies.
• Prepare feeders, reels, trays, and materials to maintain flow.
• Support changeovers and verify setups before production starts.
• Monitor equipment and flow, identify issues in materials or process.
• Verify components, orientation, quantities, and placement per docs.
• Perform visual inspections to meet workmanship standards.
• Complete routine equipment checks and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production records and traceability.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on setups and improvements.
• Support first-article and prototype builds as needed.
• Follow IPC workmanship standards and safety requirements.
