Heico Corporation is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to oversee engineering and sourcing for aviation replacement parts, leveraging strong mechanical and electromechanical knowledge.

You will develop, reverse engineer, evaluate designs, test concepts, and prepare FAA certification data, collaborating with customers and suppliers. The role requires SolidWorks CAD modeling, attention to detail, and familiarity with ASME Y14.5 tolerancing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with FAA PMA projects and certification preferred.
• SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, reverse engineer, design evaluate, test, and substantiate aviation replacement parts.
• Lead engineering activities for FAA PMA projects.
• Review specifications and maintenance/technical manuals and data.
• Create 3D CAD models and dimensional reports from reverse engineering data.
• Create manufacturing drawings for aftermarket parts from data and analyses.
• Prepare reports and data packages for FAA certification.
