Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group in Miami, FL is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to support operations in our FAA-regulated facility. You will work hands-on in a fast-paced aerospace environment, applying your electronics background to harness fabrication and assembly.

You will read schematics and wiring diagrams, assist engineering with daily tasks, and maintain logs and documentation while ensuring FAA and AS9100 compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Aviation Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in electronics, aerospace, or related technical field preferred.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience fabricating, assembling, and repairing electrical harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems.
• Support engineering with daily operations and projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Collect, record, and analyze technical data.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and test reports.
• Ensure FAA, AS9100, safety and company requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper use of tools.
