Ecliptic is expanding its electrical manufacturing capability at the San Luis Obispo facility. As an Electrical Manufacturing Technician you will fabricate, assemble, rework, and test high reliability wire harnesses and electronic assemblies for space applications.

You will work directly with the engineering team on a small site, with hands‑on training to Ecliptic and IPC workmanship standards. This is a fast‑paced environment with room to grow into test and production support roles as the site

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year hands-on experience in electronic assembly or wire harness fabrication.
• Fine pitch soldering under a microscope with assessment during interview.
• Proficient with microscopes, wire cutters, insulation strippers, tweezers, crimping tools, and thermal wire strippers.
• Ability to meet production schedules with high quality, in a typical manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate wire harnesses from drawings, wire lists and work instructions.
• Solder high density connectors and perform terminations.
• Crimp, terminate, and install pigtail connectors and backshells.
• Perform basic circuit board rework and conformal coat touch-up.
• Interpret drawings and specifications and work with engineers on changes.
• Verify flight hardware and document results clearly.
• Support electrical testing of harnesses per procedures.
• Self-monitor progress to achieve on-time delivery.
