Job summary
FMS Aerospace is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for our Huntsville, AL office. You will work with flight test instrumentation, wiring harness design, and integration of power and data components, creating drawings with AutoCAD Electrical or Draftsight.
A DoD clearance is a consideration for the role. The candidate will collaborate with the Flight Test team to define instrumentation requirements, support data acquisition hardware/software, and help plan and calibrate test setups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aeronautics, CS or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in aviation electrical engineering.
- Experience with power distribution, data acquisition, signal conditioning and transducers.
Responsibilities
- Provide aircraft electrical engineering subject matter expertise.
- Develop and maintain a Master Parameter List for each program.
- Create comprehensive Integration Plans for system equipment.
- Review avionics and wiring manuals to inform integration approach.
- Support installation and calibration of test instrumentation.
