Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a long term contract onsite in Leander, TX. You will design and integrate EWIS for launch vehicles and spacecraft, developing wire harnesses, schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable assemblies, while producing 3D CAD routing and 2D drawings.

The role requires experience in aerospace systems, flight hardware, and integration, with collaboration across engineering, production, and test teams to establish harnessing standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Aerospace, spacecraft, aviation, defense, or launch vehicle experience preferred.
• Wire harness design and EWIS experience required.
• Schematic development and electrical documentation experience.
• CAD routing and cable assembly design experience.
• Flight hardware, integration, testing, or aerospace manufacturing exposure desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate EWIS for launch vehicles and spacecraft.
• Develop wire harnesses, schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable assemblies.
• Create 3D CAD routing and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Support component design, manufacturing, testing, and final vehicle integration.
• Participate in flight hardware reviews and verification activities.
• Collaborate across engineering, production, integration, and test teams.
• Help establish aerospace harnessing standards and best practices.
