Job summary

RTX is offering an Electrical Engineering Internship on the Engine Control Systems Electrical Design Team in Windsor Locks, CT. You will work on design, analysis, and testing of electronic engine controls used on aircraft engines worldwide.

The role provides hands-on experience with hardware, simulations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, plus exposure to project planning and team communication within an aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the internship.
• Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Apps.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electronic engine controls for aircraft engines.
• Conduct analysis and simulations of electrical circuits within electronic engine controls.
• Perform hands on design verification testing and qualification testing of electronic engine controls.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production and field issues.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines to solve challenging multi-disciplinary problems.
