Job summary

Signia Aerospace's Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch in Anaheim is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician for a union wage position. The role involves assembling electrical aerospace products to blueprint specs, using hand tools, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards on-site.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings, work well in a team, and pass required background and FAA drug tests. Starting pay is $25 per hour with regular hours and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1 year aerospace/automotive experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, lift, and sit for extended periods.
• Vision 20/30 or better to see small parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical aerospace products in accordance with blueprint specifications and defined quality standards.
• Use hand tools and equipment to perform various assembly tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Obtain necessary training to acquire relevant skills, knowledge, and certifications for the job.
• Inspect parts and assembled products to detect and resolve any quality defects or discrepancies.
• Follow all quality systems and EHS protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area and proper care of materials and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals and deadlines.
