Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
• Knowledge of EDM machining: wire, sinker or drilling
• Able to read operation sheets, parameter sheets, and blueprints GD&T

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Wire and/or Sinker EDM machines with approved tooling and fixturing
• Machine complex aerospace components to blueprints and customer specs
• Read routers, setup sheets, and inspection requirements, including GD&T
• Verify first-piece and in-process dimensions with measuring equipment
• Monitor wire condition, electrode wear, flushing, and cut quality; adjust as needed
• Maintain accurate production documentation and traceability
• Follow quality procedures, including hold points and nonconformance reporting
• Escalate issues to supervision, Quality, Engineering, or Maintenance
• Perform routine machine care, cleaning, and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, safe 6S workspace and support continuous improvement
