Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is hiring for a DevSecOps-focused role in Playa Vista. You will design, implement, and maintain software infrastructure that accelerates builds, ensures security, and automates SBOM generation across embedded software and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled data.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across languages, primarily GitHub Actions.
• Develop and optimize containerized build/test workflows; manage base images and artifacts (JFrog Artifactory).
• Secure container supply chain: harden bases, manage registries, integrate image scanning.
• Automate SBOM generation and vulnerability/license scanning across artifacts and containers.
• Own static analysis tooling and surface findings in a digestible format.
• Code signing infrastructure and verification workflows for authentic software.
• Build lightweight internal solutions – policy-as-code and custom scanners.
• Partner with engineers to triage vulnerabilities and promote secure coding practices.
• Embed security principles across CI/CD with embedded hardware teams.
