Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Development Assembly and Test Technician for a 2nd shift role.

The position involves building and testing development hardware, supporting data acquisition and analysis, and working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in a fast-paced engineering setting. This role requires hands-on experience in aerospace testing, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with aerospace systems, testing and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret moderately complex schematics and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and systems with increasing complexity; repair or modify components as needed.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues with components or systems and propose solutions.
• Conduct moderately complex tests on components and systems; record results and provide preliminary findings to engineering.
• Participate in process improvements and update documentation as needed.
• Serve as a resource to entry-level technicians by guiding safety procedures and basic tasks.
