Job summary

BETA Technologies, based in Vermont, is seeking an experienced engineer to advance electric aviation programs. You will produce aircraft level drawings, review designs and interfaces, and develop innovative solutions for structural joints, while supporting R&D and certification activities.

The role requires hands-on collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years aerospace experience.
• Proficient in Catia and 3DExperience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D/2D aircraft drawings, ICDs and skeletons.
• Review detail design, installations and interfaces.
• Develop concepts and solutions for structural interfaces/joints.
• Support special projects (RND) and first article inspections.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement.
• Support conformity and certification activities.
• Troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing issues.
