Job summary

System One is seeking a Design Engineer II to join our onsite team in Seminole, OK. You will design new aerospace environmental control components, support product lifecycles, and analyze requirements to craft robust engineering solutions.

You will produce technical drawings, test plans, and documentation while coordinating with manufacturing and QA teams. The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 2–4 years of relevant aerospace ECS experience, with CAD tools proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience developing aerospace environmental control system components and systems.
• Experience with CAD design tools and engineering documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design new product and support all phases of the product lifecycle from development to manufacturing.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop engineering solutions to meet project specs.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, test plans, and reports.
• Support design for cost, manufacturability, and reliability practices.
• Conduct testing in R&D labs and analyze data to validate designs.
• Communicate project status and technical issues with stakeholders.
• Assist in proposals and client presentations; interact with clients and suppliers on technical matters.
• Maintain documentation and project files per company guidelines.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and business development teams.
• Recommend design/process improvements or cost reductions based on testing and analysis.
• Support existing product lines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
