Job summary

47G Utah Aerospace & Defense in Saint George is seeking a Design Engineer to lead the full-cycle product design of precision aerospace components. In this hands-on role, you will engage in CAD modeling, engineering analysis, and collaborative efforts to ensure manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 years of professional mechanical design experience in aerospace or precision fluid-control industries.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of custom fluid-control components design from concept to production.
  • Creation of 3D solid models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
  • Collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams for design verification.

Skills

3D CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)
Problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
