Job summary

Whippany Actuation Systems is seeking a Demand Planner to collaborate with purchasing, production, and sales to ensure on-time delivery. You will analyze, schedule, expedite, and monitor materials, participate in capacity reviews, and drive improvements across the planning cycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of manufacturing material planning experience, with travel up to 15%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience leading a Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Graduate degree or MBA preferred for advanced roles.
• ASCM/APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OP process and drive the improvement agenda.
• Develop monthly Production Plan based on Demand input and Capacity.
• Establish and maintain a weekly master production schedule.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for feasible plans.
• Define and maintain S&OP KPIs and metrics.
• Distribute work orders and assist departments with items.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and adjust plans.
• Review and maintain master data for legacy and new products.
• Communicate shortages and make recommendations.
• Manage action and issues list and drive closure.
