Job summary

OEM Logistics, LLC is seeking a Supplier Specialist to join our growing manufacturing team. This full-time role requires collaboration with suppliers, travel to regional sites, and strong sourcing and delivery oversight.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, a college degree or equivalent, and proven skills in supply chain management, problem solving, and professional communication. Pre-employment background checks are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Five to ten years of manufacturing experience (aerospace/defense/shipbuilding/submarine industries preferred)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment motor vehicle history check
• Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Production Control, and Shop Floor Management
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, PDCA; strong project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; professionalism and attention to detail
• Strong independent decision-making skills and professional judgment; proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop a partnership with assigned suppliers and work as a team to meet customer requirements
• Manage the Open Order Report with suppliers to minimize risk and identify delivery improvements
• Monitor delivery performance trends and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Facilitate timely closure of corrective actions
• Collaborate with sub-tiers to improve communication and achieve production commitments
• Drive cross-functional communication to prevent delays and document mission critical parts performance
