Job summary

Sierra Nevada Company, LLC offers a part-time Non-Technical Intern position in Lone Tree, CO. You will engage in a comprehensive summer internship program with hands-on projects, mentorship, and cross-functional workshops in a dynamic aerospace and defense environment.

The role supports the ISR/Aviation/ Security business area with data analysis, documentation, and participation in planning and process-improvement efforts. Security clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
• Relevant experience.
• Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in actual projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in your field.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
• Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements and team goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
• Participate in workshops designed to provide a deeper understanding of the business and company culture.
• Effectively communicate ideas, progress, and findings to team members and leadership.
