Analog Devices, Inc. in Southern California seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support Aerospace, Defense, and Communications markets with technical expertise and design‑in assistance.

You will work with sales and product teams to translate customer requirements into high‑performance solutions and deliver timely deployments. This role offers mentoring, hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge RF, MEMS, and analog/mixed‑signal technologies, and opportunities to grow into senior applications

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in product/engineering roles supporting customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid RF, microwave, and mixed-signal circuit design knowledge.
• Hands-on lab experience with measurement, debugging, validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork with sales and management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison between customers, sales, and product groups.
• Support design-in and deployment of Wireless RF, MEMS, Microwave and analog/mixed-signal solutions for Aerospace/Defense.
• Mentor and collaborate with Senior Field Applications Engineer.
• Translate customer requirements into high-performance engineering solutions.
• Provide system-level architectures tailored to applications.
• Deliver customer training and conduct technical presentations and demos.
