Job summary

Spirit Defense, a Boeing Company subsidiary, seeks skilled assemblers for defense and space hardware. You will assemble, inspect, and test parts from drawings, using precision instruments and shop math to ensure quality and on-time delivery. You will cross-train in inspection and support production flow across shifts in a unionized plant.

Candidates must obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance and be willing to work first and second shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Willingness to work any shift, overtime as required, and navigate varied workplace environments.
• New hires will be trained on 1st shift for 2-3 months then moved to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, form, test and inspect parts and assemblies from drawings and specifications to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Obtain required information from prints, charts, and documents; use shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Utilize tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies and end items; verify work per instructions and engineering specs.
