Seyer Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled deburring technician in Missouri to read blueprints and perform precise finishing operations on machined parts.

The role requires using hand and power tools, measuring with calipers and micrometers, and coordinating with quality teams to ensure AS-9100 compliance. The facility offers weekly payroll, vacation accrual, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, planning deburr and finishing operations.
• Ability to remove burrs and sharp edges with tools while maintaining tolerances.
• Strong communication with machinists, inspectors and supervisors.
• Familiarity with quality systems and AS-9100 requirements.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment per 6S standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, plannings, sketches for deburr and finishing operations.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machine parts using hand tools, power tools, and abrasive methods while maintaining part and dimensional integrity.
• Communicate with machinists, quality inspectors, and supervisors to resolve issues and achieve common goals.
• Perform precision deburring and finishing operations.
• Inspect finished parts with precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and profilometers.
• Interface with Quality Assurance personnel regarding inspection criteria and results.
• Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS-9100, for example).
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
