Job summary

Intrinsic is seeking a Data Engineer to join a talented development team building modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will generate and visualize large datasets, working closely with end users to support decision making under dynamic conditions and delivering high-quality product features.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, DoD Top Secret Clearance, 4 years of Python experience, ELK stack expertise, and proficiency with CI/CD and Git in an Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• 4 years of experience with Python.
• Experience in ELK stack.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• 3 years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team.
• Experience building, testing and deploying software
• Experience with Git in a team environment.
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Formulate data insights from realistic simulation environments emulating real world systems and platforms
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand desired simulation and production system requirements and metrics
• Develop visualizations that rapidly communicate key metrics intuitively from large, heterogenous data sets and formats
• Verify accuracy of simulation models and scenarios
• Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team
• Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology
• Deliver high quality product features exceeding client expectations
