Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an analyst engineer for the Howmet Research Center to join a team of data scientists and ML engineers. You will work with manufacturing data, query multiple sources, and convert data into reliable datasets for machine learning, reporting, and visualization tools.

Responsibilities include collaborating with IT and plant personnel, data cleaning, bias checks, and documenting work. Up to 50% travel, including international assignments, is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL to query manufacturing data.
• Ability to transform data using programming language.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to understand model input requirements.
• Query multiple data sources and join data to accurately represent the process.
• Transform data to meet model input requirements and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Document projects and code, storing work in a revision-controlled system.
• Travel up to 50% including international trips to France, UK and Germany.
