Job summary

Belcan in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Controls Engineer to support system test and integration rigs for gas turbine electronics and controls. The role requires a BS/MS in EE, Systems, or Aerospace and prior test rig experience, with hybrid work and full benefits.

You will debug and troubleshoot rigs, review verifications, and assist in the design and integration of new engine components throughout the product lifecycle. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required for the role.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior test rig experience and ability to modify or build rigs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Aptitude with computers, scripting languages, and software tools.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 50% and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Test Rig and Simulation teams to operate and maintain test rigs for gas turbine electronics and controls.
• Debug, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on test rigs and unit under test.
• Review verification findings and propose remedies to issues observed.
• Support design and integration of new engine component features through the lifecycle.
• Install components hands-on and support stakeholders during verification and validation.
