Job summary

MOHR Talent in New Hope, MS is seeking a Contracts Assistant / Coordinator to support cradle-to-grave contract administration for commercial and government aerospace manufacturing programs. The role involves managing prime and subcontracts, regulatory compliance, proposal support, and cross-functional coordination with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can handle multiple priorities, draft and review contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of contract administration experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Familiarity with FAR-based contracts and agreements.
• Basic understanding of FAR and DFARS.
• Exposure to fixed-price and cost-reimbursable contracts.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing customer contracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and PO terms and conditions.
• Draft straightforward contract documents, revisions, and related documentation under supervision.
• Independently review contractual terms and summarize provisions, risks, for senior staff.
• Prepare and route contract modifications, change orders, and amendments for approval.
• Maintain organized, compliant contract files and audit-ready records.
• Monitor customer e-commerce portals and ERP system for order processing and reporting.
• Support contract closeout by updating ERP and portal records and archiving files.
• Verify compliance with regulations including ITAR and other federal rules.
