Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) seeks a contracts professional to support administration, compliance, proposal review, and negotiations across government, commercial, and international programs. This role partners with PM, Finance, Supply Chain, and leadership to drive compliant and efficient contract execution.

The ideal candidate balances risk with business objectives, can handle multiple priorities, and may be hired at different levels based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in contracts administration, compliance, proposal support or related functions in aerospace/defense/government contracting.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related frameworks preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess contractual risk and exercise sound business judgment.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal and contract review for U.S. Government, commercial and international customers.
• Review, interpret, negotiate, and administer terms and conditions balancing objectives and risk.
• Coordinate with program managers and stakeholders for negotiations, pricing, and modifications.
• Serve as primary EBAD contact for contractual matters and maintain documentation.
• Review awards and documents for consistency with proposals and terms.
• Assist in NDA/teaming agreements and related instruments.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, FAR/DFARS where applicable.
• Create, maintain, and manage contract records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Partner with internal teams on governance and process improvements.
• Analyze contractual data to support reporting and decisions.
• Communicate obligations, risks, opportunities, and status to stakeholders.
• Support post-award activities including modifications and closeouts.
