Job summary

Composite Resources (Re:Build CR, LLC) in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Composites Fabrication Technician (Aerospace & Defense) for the second shift (2:30pm–1:30am). You review SOPs, grab calipers and micrometers, and perform precision bonding on lightweight structures.

You will handle epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester resins, hand-finish patterns and molds to produce smooth, production-ready surfaces, assemble structures with fasteners, and conduct self-inspections to verify tolerances.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience with composite materials (Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass) is a plus.
• Confidence reading SOPs/work instructions and offering improvement ideas.
• Measurement skills with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and indicators.
• Hands-on fabrication ability and comfort with common shop tools.
• Experience with adhesive bonding and structural assembly, including fasteners.
• Meticulous attention to detail working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Work with epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester, silicones, and other resin systems.
• Hand-finish patterns and molds, achieving smooth, production-ready surfaces.
• Assemble structures: set up, bond, and install fasteners with precision.
• Conduct self-inspections to ensure quality at every step.
