Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. in Plainview, NY is recruiting an Aerospace Assembler to build composite, electronic, and electromechanical parts. You will work with complex fixtures, operate tools, and document activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–3 months or more assembly experience, ability to read English blueprints and use basic measuring tools, and physical capability to lift 10–50 lbs. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Experience: 1–3 months or more in assembly, aerospace preferred.
• Technical Skills: able to read English blueprints/schematics; use calipers and basic measuring tools.
• Physical Demands: stand, reach, lift 10–50 lbs as required by the cell.

Responsibilities

• Material Assembly: Assemble composite, electrometric, and electronic materials using fixtures and tools.
• Fabrication & Layup: Vacuum bagging, mold prep, and curing for composite parts.
• Wiring & Soldering: Solder and connect wires and subassemblies per drawings.
• Finishing & Adjustments: Drill holes, countersink rivets, mix adhesives, and sand materials.
• Quality & Testing: Inspect components and perform functional tests for aerospace standards.
• Documentation: Record data, track materials, and use scanners for traceability.
