SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA is seeking an Assembler I for 2nd shift to perform finish assembly on aerospace composite products on a moving line. You will follow takt-time instructions, work with small hand tools, and contribute to mass production of critical components.

Ideal candidates have strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and basic math skills, with a willingness to learn new platforms and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Understanding of process specifications.
• Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
• Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
• Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
• May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
