Sonaca North America is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing, identify and manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reduction across aerospace components. You will collaborate with COE leaders and internal customers to optimize procurement and maintain a reliable supply base.
The role requires 5–7 years in supply chain or procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience presenting to upper management.

We are currently seeking a Commodity Manager. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, the Commodity Manager is responsible for the procurement of products and services as assigned by the organization. The successful candidate will lead the strategic planning and execution required in identifying, selecting, and managing continued relationships with vendors to meet business objectives related to supplier quality, delivery, and cost.
Travel Required Yes, 25% travel to suppliers/stakeholders
Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent business experience. 5 to 7 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement function. machined parts, capital equipment, sheet metal and plates, factory supplies, services, etc. Demonstrated negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers. Excellent communication skills; demonstrated experience giving presentations to upper management to provide project updates, gain approval for negotiation strategies, etc. Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams to meet business stretch targets Experience using MS project management tools a plus
