Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an Aerospace CNC Operations Leader to own shift execution across multiple machining departments, establishing safety, precision, and pace from pre-shift to post-run.

You will lead and develop operators, enforce SOPs, partner with Quality on non-conformances, drive root-cause investigations, and drive daily scheduling. The role includes coaching, performance feedback, and participation in the Ownership For All program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading teams in aerospace or defense machining.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Calm organization under pressure and a problem-solver’s mindset.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, electronic time and labor systems, and shop-floor machinery.
• High school diploma required; technical or business degree is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift readiness: verify materials and tooling, ensure programs are loaded, assign operators.
• Quality stewardship: enforce SOPs and frozen processes, partner with Quality on non-conformances, and drive root cause investigations.
• Production flow: anticipate bottlenecks, participate in daily scheduling, and call overtime when the plan demands it.
• People leadership: coach, train, recognize excellence, and conduct performance appraisals.
